The importance of the citrus crops is recognized throughout world. Despite tremendous advancements in agricultural technology, fruit production still considered a significant challenge. Various biotic factors have trampled down rate Citrus many places. Among them, canker caused by Xanthomonas axonopodis pv. citri (Xac) and (Xcc) great importance. Infection Xac leads to lesion development leaves, fruits, stem. Defoliation early drop can occur as result severe infection, resulting loss output. Preliminary management techniques involve quarantining sanitizing. Chemical copper-based bactericides are frequently employed places with large-scale production. However, continued use chemicals, on other hand, has led evolution resistant microorganisms increased soil pollution. alternative strategies been suggested address this issue. This review will go over advances biocontrol agents that used combat disease.
